Terms & Conditions

1.1 The present terms and conditions (the “Terms” ) are applicable for all legal relations, offers, sales and deliveries between the customers (hereinafter also referred to as “You”) and http:/storyofafterlife.com/ run by ReUse Solutions OÜ (the “Web store”), reg. code 12975505, registered address Metsa tn 2-8, Kuremaa borough, Jõgeva county, Estonia.

1.2. In addition to the present terms and conditions, the legal relations arising as a result of purchasing the products from the Web store are regulated by applicable legislative acts of the Republic of Estonian.

1.3 The Web store has the right to change the present terms and conditions. All changes will be published online on the http://storyofafterlife.com/ website and will come into effect immediately after their publication. Using the site or by placing an order the customers agree to be bound by the present terms and conditions.

1.4 As the Web store uses recycled materials to create the Products there won’t be two identical products. Your product will have the same cut and colour range as shown in the webstore, but there will always be a certain magic of the unknown for you to discover.

2. Prices
2.1 Prices in the Web store are stated in Euros (€).

2.2 The prices do not include shipping costs. Shipping is free for orders over 300 euros and orders that are delivered in Estonia. The shipping cost for international orders is 15 euros.

2.3. If the customer orders products for delivery outside of the EU please note that the customer’s purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by the customer.

2.4 The Web store price list is valid for timely paid invoices. The Web store has the right to change the prices indicated on the website. All such changes will be published online on the http://storyofafterlife.com website and will come into effect immediately after their publication.

2.5 Should the order be placed before such a price change occurred, the customer is obligated to pay the price which was stated at the time of placing the order.

3 Payment
3.1. In order to purchase a product from the Web store, please select the size for the product and click the “add to cart” button. On the next page, please select your country for delivery and click the “update total” button to review the shipping costs. To purchase the product please click the “check out” button.

3.2 In order to take your payment, we will transfer you to our Credit Card processing service provided by PayPal. Please note that we do not store customer’s credit card details within our website database.

3.3. Please double-check the billing and shipping information, since quick and uninterrupted delivery of your order depends on the accuracy of the information submitted.

3.4 The contract enters into force the moment the payment is transferred to the Web store’s bank account.

4. Shipping
4.1. The Web store ships worldwide via regular recorded post. Once your order is shipped, we will send you the tracking code.

4.2. To follow our eco-friendly principles we only make things that are wanted. Therefore, we only have a really small stock and have the pieces usually made only once the order has been placed and paid for. The making can take up to 7 working days and we will ship your purchase as soon as it is ready.

4.3. Shipping can take up to 7-9 working days for European countries and 21 working days to everywhere else. However, usually it does not take that long. Please contact us in case you have not received your order within the abovementioned timeframes.

5. Returns & Refunds
5.1. After receiving the product the customer has the right to familiarise themselves with it for the period of 14 days. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the purchased product, you have the right to return it within the 14 day period by sending a corresponding message to the e-mail address info@afterlife.com. When returning a product to the Web store, the client pays the fees for the shipping and delivery. The products must be returned in their original condition.

5.2 Ensure that the product being returned is unused and in perfect condition, with all the original labels still attached as they were at the time of shipping. Returns must also include the original packaging, in good condition. Please note that new and unused means that there are no marks or wear on the item and tags. The Web store will not accept the return of products with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the products will be returned to the customer.

5.3 When returning the product as specified in Clause 5.1, the Web store will return the sum paid for the order. The due sum is to be transferred to the customer’s bank account not later than 14 days after receiving the client’s return claim, provided the product has been returned within the same deadline, i.e. during 14 days.

5.4 If you discover a defect of any kind in a product delivered by us, please contact us as soon as possible to raise a formal complaint. This will entitle you to a replacement product or, in cases where this is not possible, a refund. If the product delivered is wrong or damaged, we will arrange for its free return. Sellers of consumer goods within the EU are obliged to guarantee the conformity of the goods with a contract, for a period of two years after the delivery of the goods.

5.5 The Web store reserves the right to cancel the contract when it is not possible to deliver the products the customer ordered, or when one or more products the customer ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error. If we cancel the contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account the sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after you placed the order.

6. Copyright
6.1. All the content available on the Web store, including, but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, video and audio clips (the “Content”) is the property of the Webstore and is protected by Estonian and international copyright laws.

6.2. It is not allowed to use, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, modify or otherwise exploit the Content, in full or in part, for any purpose without the expressed written permission of Webstore and linking to the original source.

7. Privacy
7.1 The customer hereby gives the Web store the right to use certain personal information. Information that is provided while performing a purchase is collected by the Webstore in order to fulfil the customer order and to develop the service provided to the customer.

7.2 The Web store may collect the following data: the customer’s name, address, e-mail, phone number, details about the payment, size information.

7.3 The Web store may forward the customer’s personal information regarding the delivery of the Product to the chosen delivery company.

7.4 The customer’s personal information is protected by all security measures required by law. The Web store will not forward the personal information to any third parties, unless it is obligatory under the law.

7.5 The customer has the right to control all personal information related to the customer and ask the Web store to change personal information.

7.6 The Web store may send the customer special offers, newsletters and questionnaires via the email address provided upon placing an order, if the customer agrees to this.

8. Liability and Force Majeure
8.1. The Web store and the customer are mutually liable for any damage caused to another party by not complying to the present terms in amount and in cases provided for by the applicable European Union legislative acts. Although, the Web store liability connected to any products acquired through the Web Store is strictly limited to the buying price of the products.

8.2 The Web store is not responsible for the damage incurred to the customer as well as product delivery delays, should such damage or delivery delay be caused by circumstances beyond the control of the Web store and occurrence whereof the Web store did not foresee and could not have possibly foreseen (Force Majeure).

8.3 Any links to other websites which are not operated by the Web store is out of our control and we accept no responsibility for them.

9. Governing Law
9.1 All matters not covered by the present terms are to be resolved based on the applicable legislative acts of the Republic of Estonia.

9.2 All the disputes between the customers and the Web store regarding ordering and buying Products from the Web store are to be resolved by negotiations. Should a compromise not be reached, the Parties have the right to turn to the Customer Protection Department or Harju Maakohus (Harju County Court) in order to protect their rights. The Parties shall rely upon the applicable legislative acts of Republic of Estonia while resolving disputes.
